I want to try and do my best to describe your wedding day at my chapels as it is my true desire to make your wedding day special.
Plan to be at the chapel a minimum of one and a half hours. Please do not schedule a dinner or reception earlier than two hours after your wedding begins to allow travel time.. Nothing ruins a wedding day faster than the stress of being rushed, a limousine waiting while you are paying or guests wanting to know when you will be finished. I ask that you arrive about five minutes before your scheduled wedding and expect to walk down the aisle no later than 15 minutes later. We offer a bride's lounge, unfortunately, brides and friends sometime confuse this as a place they can all dress for the wedding and forget that 15 minutes is not nearly enough time. This room is simply for the bride to relax, put on her dress and have private photos taken with special guests. We do not want to rush anyone, however, if we get off schedule here, so will be the rest of the wedding.
While the bride is in her private room, the groom will be in the chapel and can visit with guests and family. Please make sure your guests know that they will be seated in the chapel at your scheduled wedding time. We can not wait for them, nor can we accommodate them earlier than your scheduled wedding time. Please tell your guests that camera's are not allowed on property. After we finish with family and special guests, we ask that everyone steps out of the chapel for the photographer to take special poses of just the bride and groom. Please let your quests know that it will be an additional 30-45 minutes before you will be finished. After your photo shoot is completed, you are to view your photographs. If you are not able to allow enough time to view your photographs after your wedding, arrangements need to be made a minimum of 24 hours prior to your wedding to schedule a later viewing time. Many times parents want to be included in this and yes, their will be a lapse of time while the photographer is finishing with you without anything for them to do. I suggest a champagne reception in our gazebo or patio area while they are waiting if you choose. Once you and everyone wanting to view your photographs is seated in our photo viewing room, plan to take about thirty minutes to view your photographs and receive them on CD or make arrangements to have them printed and mailed. Then we all say our goodbye's and hug and wish you happiness. If you follow my suggestions, I guarantee that your wedding will be a success. Please remember that we all are on a tight schedule. I am sorry to say that if you are more than 15 minutes late my wedding coordinators have no choice but to re-schedule you for a later time as not to disappoint the next bride.
